Let's see, this weekend we had three weddings, a medical ethics review board, and a group of evangelical Jehovah's Witnesses. And we're overbooked tonight, but it's a gardening group, so I don't think they count. This has hands down the weirdest mix I've seen since the city of Burlington decided to hold the Folk Fest and the Monster Truck rally on the same night.
So, how did YOUR weekend go?

Yeah, I'd say you were about even until she mentioned Al Sharpton.
I spent last weekend in a hotel with Lesbian Japanese Anime fans, a wedding party, a group that was testing to be paramedics, a touring Riverdance! company and Al Sharpton!
Welllllll...we had Huey Lewis and the News staying over the middle of the week...I got to talk to him for a moment when he was getting drunk in the bar...but after that, the weekend hit and I actually have been off since about 7 on Thursday and don't go back until Tuesday at noon...so I guess you win this weekend's little conflagration there, eris...heh heh heh...
OK, AsIs wins for the sheer enormity of WEIRDNESS involved with Riverdance comming within 100 KM of Al Sharpton.
Oy! All those WHITE Irish-like folks in the same time zone of Al-S, it's just TOO Much!

Love him or hate him, you have to admit he was wicked funny in "Mr Deeds" and I do respect a "serious" public figure who's willing to make fun of themselves in a movie.
