It was easy. I used big hose clamps around the top and bottom of the charcoal cannister to hold the Jaz catch can's metal bracket (that bolts into the can's sockets).
The vacuum caps that come on the Jaz can fit perfectly over the Tee that the PCV hose used to head to.
I had to cut the PCV valve in two places (into three pieces) to gut it out. A little sanding and some epoxy and it's back in business. I would recommend trying to buy the proper elbow. This was not worth the time it took to do.
I took pictures, but they will likely suck.

This week I swear. I have the new hose (15ft) so I can eliminate the "T" and I have the fitting and the sorts to do the oil filler cap to complete the install. I am glad that Holden said where and how he mounted the can cause that was gonna be the hardest part. Holden-why did you choose to keep the pcv valve (though gutted) and not just run the hose straight from the oe box to the can? I didn't realize what a pain gutting a PCV valve is. When I saw they were $1.99, I figured I could afford a few attempts!
Unfortunately, 7 hours wasn't enough for the epoxy to cure, so this morning when I went to plug it in, it broke apart at an epoxy seam.
It would have been a very neat solution.
I'm heading to Home Depot at lunch to fabricate something. I'll pick up an aluminum box bar while I'm there http://www.hostboard.com/ubb/wink.gif
You guys didn't just plug the 3/8"ID hose right into the oil box, did you?
Zip: I don't think an ECU reset would help me since the ECU hasn't stepped in and retarded timing.

Back from Home Depot. I found the perfect replacement for the PCV valve.
It's a "Poly Hose Barb To MIP Elbow - 3/8x1/4"
Basically, it's a plastic 90 degree elbow almost exactly the size of the PCV valve. One end has a barb for 3/8" ID tubing. The other end is meant for a pressure fitting on a 1/4" OD tube. It's threaded, but just the right size to fit into the OEM grommet in the oil box.
oh yeah, got the aluminum bar too.

Anyways, I'm still getting my catch can on..hehe...Finally, got all the hardware.
I went to Home Depot and saw what Holden's
suggested, that 3/8" x1/4" elbow but I found two female/male brass conector I believe would fit better into the PCV valve place.
Basically, after you connects the threaded female/male connectors, you get the 3/8" x 1/2" barb.
Well, there's another problem..I can't find the damn PCV valve. I moved the intake tubing/front strut bar etc..can't see it anywhere...crawled under the car, reach up and feel around the oil filter area, don't see it anywhere...Where the heck is it?? http://www.hostboard.com/ubb/frown.gif
