I would like everyone to meet...[insert name here]...he can introduce his name if he so chooses....he is a friend of mine from church camp and between the two of us, i dont' think there is a computer question we can't answer....(although that is speaking quite highly of ourselves).
anyways, hopefully he's going to start posting a bit more....don't give him to hard of a time....even though he can take it.

that's his question. i never understood or cared about that stuff, in fact, it took me two years of hearing the term to finally realize that it was spelled endian...and not indian.
but while we are at it. are you referring to ordering in bits or bytes or both?

i was referring to the bit that holds the most significant number, wether it was the first or the last bit.
And yeah, x86's are little endian [img]tongue.gif[/img]

zela....i will get to your questions this time, the cheat and i decided i would field these questions, but i don't have time to refresh my memory about what all that is. see...i'm a "computer science nerd" too....that is what i WENT (past tense) to uni for....
as for shatzy....i will be online all day as i am every weekday. just buzz me or something.
i struck out last night trying to help out our very own italipino...which i felt horrible about. hopefully she will read this and understand that i really am not computer illiterate
