Carson Daly is letting them play on his show for a whole hour tonight. Of course this is at 2 a.m. on a Wednesday so who is up to see it? I wonder why they are getting such special treatment. I would like more late night shows to do this but put on bands like Robin Black and the I.R.S. that would rule.

Special treatment? Getting on tv shows or on the radio is NOT special treatment.
Then you missed the point of the comment. It went over your head. You see, on shows like the one that mentioned, bands only get to play 1 or MABEY 2 songs at the most. When a band comes on and gets to play for 1 whole hour (thats almost a concert) I WOULD CALL THAT SPECIAL TREATMENT because no one else gets to do that on those shows!!!

What I was referring to was the fact that bands like Robin Black are not on those shows - not because they don't get special treatment... but just because they are NOT the same caliber. Not saying that they are any less talented or that the bands on the radio are more talented. It's just the way things go. Depends on your label. How far your label will back you. On money. On all those things that make life unfair.

Opinions arent wrong. They are just opinions. I think Janes addiction was treated better than ANY band I have ever seen on there and seeing Robin Black would rule. (for me anyway). I am just trying to understand why my post warranted such a negative reaction. There is nothing WRONG about any thing that I said. There is 1 fact in my statement "JANES ADDICTION GOT BETTER (SPECIAL) TREATMENT THAN ANY BAND EVER ON THERE. and there was 1 opinion "SEEING ROBIN BLACK ON THERE WOULD RULE". Which one was WRONG?

ok that is understandable, but they did get more playing time than other bands for whatever reason. So I will change my statement to that. It wasnt special treatment, they just got to play longer than anyone before them and got alot more promotion than anyone that has ever played on that show. Those are facts not opinions. You said
