oh yeahhhhh.......I was wondering how you were doin, what ya thought of Sars Stock *G*....Saw alot of reports on tv...tried listening to it online, and the site was having streaming audio problems, go figure....so...it was worth bein sore wasn't it? Looked like a blast!

the concert was simulcast here in calgary. tickets were free. they were just asking for donations to benefit the beef industry here. but of course... i had thursday off. not wednesday. i'm not sure i would have gone anyway. if ya can't see 'em live.... why sit in a stadium with 16,000 other people to watch 'em on tv???
oh yeah!! here it was called... beef stock!

FUCK........482,000 people.....crammed in a line up only after I walked for an hour to get to the concert site....Got scanned for weapons....and groped a little..(didnt mind that part)......stood up for another 8 hours..(once in a while lyin on the ground)..To watch ACDC AND ROLLING STONES..rock the fuckin house down..*L*
Plus 15 other bands........Sars Stock ..half a million people...Went off without a hitch...Big thing for the City of Toronto..
On a side note....going topless here for women is legal.......and alot of girls were topless.....Including the 65 year old ACDC fan that was standing in front of me dancing and flexing for pictures.......and no I didnt trip over her tits..

Mel... it was a relief concert meant to benefit the people in the city of Toronto who have been hit hard (financially) by the SARS outbreak.
It was the atmosphere...it was being around half a million people who were being for the most part respectful of each other...It was the knowledge of knowin that you were at an event that will go down in history...It was like there was people and sky....and nothing in between...
It was when ACDC looked out into the crowd and gasped.....When Keith Richards got teary eyed on stage.......it was when Mick sang Ruby Tuesday and half a million people sang with him..
It was remembering the health care workers that died treating people for Sars....Even though Richards had a morbid way of putting it,,
It was awesome.....Just to be there.....Even if I did strain every muscle in my body..
