The Weekend Wrap Up

Well as some of you may have read, I got in my truck and headed outta town on Friday night. I picked up this chick named Alison and off we went.

Approximately 4 hours later we hit our destination....

Branson, Missouri!

It was a little after midnight and Alison had dozed off just before we wheeled into the Hotel. I hadnt told her where we were going, but just to pack a few days worth of clothes.

We did a lot of things and had a truly wonderful time. There will be a video coming in a few days and it will highlight some of the things.

On Sunday we went to the Ripley's Believe it or Not museum. At the end, in the gift shop, was this photo booth that would draw a sketch of ya. What we didnt realize was that all of the goofy stuff we were doing inside the booth was also being shown on the computer screen on the outside of the booth. [img]redface.gif[/img]

It was great fun though.....here is the picture it sketched. (It looks better in real life, of course)

The pic looks like its just a black and white pic on there though...it doesnt look sketched at all.

i will say.... as tg knows (i've said before)....

he's asked me to pack a few days worth of clothes
before only to spend the night at his house

secondly, whenever we went out of state, it was
always in accordance to his riding or whatnot...
and not really about doing something er... non-riding....

also, earlier in the week tg said that he just
kinda wanted to relax this (past) weekend and
lounge about...

so when he told me to pack a few clothes etc,
i expected to either stay at his house, or mill
around arkansas... or if we went out of state,
it surely would have been relational to his riding.

when he came and picked me up... i instantly
saw that there was no *visible* bags or gear or
anything... so i assumed we'd just head back to
his house.
but then we didn't go in that direction... so my
mind started trying to justify it more...
thinking we were just gonna go to some northern
arkansas town to do something.

i wasn't feeling well and we stopped at BFE walmart
and picked up some goods: medicine and pistachios [img]tongue.gif[/img]

i did fall asleep and was awoken to the swealtering
heat inside tg's stopped vehicle. i looked around
and saw we were in some hotel parking lot (tg absent).

even though i'm the type that can really dig just
renting a local room for the weekend (for something
different)... it was truly a surprise to find
that we were in branson... as i have mentioned to
tg before that i always wanted to go.

never did i imagine that this was his surprise.
i had such a fabulous time. [img]smile.gif[/img]
