there are thousands of southern elephant
seals swimming within the -120 degree waters
off the coast of antarctica.... in pure,
6 month long, darkness

how fascinating to think of those animals
out there right now.....

the *ORT! ORT!* comes from a certain clip now
removed from the branson video. in fact, this
whole thread subject (elephant seals) are due
to that missing clip. and when tg and i were
reviewing the video prior to posting, i saw the
clip and the rest is (mysterious) history.

and yes i know ORT is a real word... as i have
used it in literati upon numerous occasions.
however, i figured *ORT!* sounded most like what
a seal sounds like. its hard to capture sound

My youngest brother and i do that too, imitate them sometimes
