Wife calles me this afternoon at work and says the clothes washer will no longer spin during the spin cycle.
After looking at it and scratching my head for fifteen min. it sounds like the water pump runs but it just wont spin.
Is it a
A. belt?
B. motor?
C. Both?
D. Time for a new washer? [img]graemlins/cry_smile.gif[/img]
*runs screaming with a wrench and hammer in hand at washer*

well, this boarders on dangerous...but open the washer, use a pencil to over-ride the saftey, put the washer on spin cycle, and try to help the drum turn...but be goddamn careful...if it takes off and ur hand is in there, you'll end up with a meat mitton.

could be a bad circuit board... and if your washer doesn't have a circuit board, time for a new washer [img]wink.gif[/img]
Guyver, It's probably just a belt but before you call for service, here's a site I've used when I've had problems with our appliances:
