Conan Doesn't Display Well On It's Own

I just took down my ROTC figures to put up the Conan figures(no new shelf yet so I can keep em both on display) and I discovered that the just don't display well. Look at Monsters 3.

They fill the space well. They don't look cramped, but the shelf doesn't look like it's missing something. now look at Conan.

They don't fill the space at all. If I line them up so they are easily seen, it leaves a lot of empty space behind them. But if I offset them Like I do with all my other shelves they either look way to cramped or too spread out.And as of right now there are no other lines to display them with. I guess I'll just have to wait till Conan 2 comes out to display Conan properly.

It's all the other accessories and bases that the Monsters line has that makes it look more complete than the COnan ones...

You're right, they do look a little "alone". If the dragon was a little biger I'm sure it would help a lot. He's way too little for my taste.

Just had an idea, can you imagine if the Dragon line mcfarlane is coming up with is all the same size as this... doh [img]eek.gif[/img]

Well considering that 4 of the 5 humans have at least one arm behind their backs...there just isn't much variety in their poses. The dragon's size disappoints me.

toss a few of the RotC figs back in there...

Well, one of the things that's really cool about this set, is that you don't have to keep them displayed alone if you don't want to. They mix well with a lot of fantasy warrior figures [img]graemlins/thumbs_up.gif[/img]

I like a little space between my figures. I think the way you have them displayed looks really good. Not sure about the muli-colored VW - but it looks good! [img]wink.gif[/img]
