My copy arrived yesterday, here is what you get for 35.00
2 cds worth of material, first a copy of UnReel, 2nd a cd of examples performed by Marc, along with MIDI sound examples of ALL the solos transcribed for each tune slowed down so you can follow the trasncription. Also are 2 tunes from UnReel mixed WITHOUT drums for someone to play along to.
The book was written WITH Randy Waldman and Vinnie, ALL tunes from UnReel are transcribed note for note, including the solos.
Many examples and exercises are given for working on these type of ideas. All an all, Marc did an fantastic job on this book and everyone should get a copy.
If yo go to NAMM, I believe Marc will be at the Warner booth but not sure which days, Marc is on the road right now with Wayne Newton and does not get back home until the 20th of this month, but I will talk with him and post the dates. Might have to be on the look for special guests.....hmm

It is availabel now and should be available at Namm, although most video/slash book vendors have been shying away from selling at the show.
Mannix and Leave it to Beaver are the play along minus drums tracks.

By the way, my copy came in the mail today. It looks like Marc did a great job on the book.

When you go to the main web page of Warner Brothers Publications, there is a small section called "Featured Products" and a purple "CLICK HERE" link. Click that link and you should see a search engine. Select the artist button and type in "Colaiuta". The search engine will list the "Unreel Drum Method" book and you should be able to order it.
