A while ago I started making a doll closet to fit back in the cubby holes in my attic, and now it's pretty much finished so i've posted som pictures in my image station. it's made with plywood and dowl rods. i still ahve some rods to put in and the ceiling to paint (ran out of primer) and then i'm going to add some battery powered lights to the ceiling. I also have a few more drawers to make to go in those square spaces on the right side.
if anyone wants any directions on how to make this let me know. it was fun but took a while to do.
the nice thing about it is that it really doesn't take up any space in our house, since it's back in the receses of the attic.
here's the link.

As always: great job, Meg!
Isn?t it funny how cats [always have to put their nose in everything?
Kiwi is just the same!
But I really think the caption for picture no. 5 should read: "right corner and Mo?s tail"

OMG! It looks like a regular-sized person's room! That's amazing! I was like "is that her stuff, or American girl stuff?!?!" And then when I saw the cat, I knew!
That's amazing.
Great work!

It belongs on HG TV . As long as Mo does not decide to demolish the place and then take a nap in the middle of the ruins. You should send a picture of it to American Girl.

That is my dream closet for ME, as in my real human clothes and shoes.
You should take a picture with one of your girls in the closet picking out an outfit.

It's so great! I soo need one of those closets for my doll stuff ( I swear my dolls have more clothes than I do)!
-
Wow! That's a really good idea. I wish I had the space to do something like that.

That's amazing, Meg - what an awesome space! Your AG girls are very lucky to have such a talented mom.

Very spiffy! I envy your space for organization! All my doll clothes are currently stored in one of those cloth sweater-shelf things that hang in my real closet- it'd be so neat to have them really hanging up!

< in which the sense of inadequate nature of my doll organization comes to the fore!>
WONDERFUL job, Meg!!
Must agree Pat B.'s suggestion that this could be on HGTV- their organization shows wouldn't nearly stand up to yours! Good job and thanks for posting such great pictures~
