A proposal

This is mind boggling but true: come April we will have all been interacting with one another on-line and off for 10 years! 10 years!!! I propose a gathering in mid to late April, I will come to Ohio for it. Throw some ideas into it and make sure it's on a weekend and let's put something together. I plan on coming up at that time regardless, but a 10 yr reunion would be very nice. I was going to come up for Thanksgiving this year but the prospect of being in Ohio in late November kind of gives me the creeps, so a spring visit it is.

I second the motion the fine gentlemen representative from the great state of florida has put before us in such a gracious manner!

Or something like that....

I'll even volunteer my home as a gathering spot (although it's in Lebanon, which was too far for Gae to come out to because, in her opinions, it was "in the country")

I have hosted gatherings, so have Gae/Trav, Jumper and D2 have as well. Many restaurants have and are still in business, oddly enough.

Lebanon might not be a bad location for me as I will be staying probably with my cousin, and she lives on the eastside, although I have several invitations to stay with others as well.

Lew I hope your home is canine friendly, I'll be bringing Bandit with me (my Border Collie).

Our plan is to build a deck next spring, that would really be a boost to our hosting people. We have picked our design, I'll need to have it drawn-up and then submitted for zoning approval. If we can make a go of it, it will totally kick ass for having people over.

And yes, dogs are welcome (the only animals not allowed are snakes).
