i've tried my best to only reply to the positive ones...but i couldn't resist posting in the "What do you hate most about Toyfair".

My reply: All the bitching, moaning and wining that goes on after any news release.

I've never seen such a negative reaction to Toy Fest.

Boarders were literally telling McFarlane "fuck you" in so many threads, it was unbelievable.

Now, I'm not exactly happy about MM7, but a lot of the other stuff sounds promising, including Tortured Souls (WLN interested in TS? *GASP*).

People have said they're going to stop buying McF products because of three lame-ass Movie Maniac figures.

Everyday I go to the Spawn.com board, I'm reminded of why I like posting here so much.

I can't even bother any more-
But I've never liked kids to begin with, lol

In all honesty, I was disgruntled after seeing the MM lineup. Then I took some time to think and realize how many other great figures are coming out, PLUS Robocop that I've been awaiting for years! So I realized that it's not so bad.

Instead of hating, bashing, and ridiculing the MM... I took a more questionable approach. I wanted to know why those figures were chosen. It just confused me more than anything. The characters seem kind of plain, but oh well.

Robocop, Spawn Reborn and 26, and 12 inch Pred sound amazing to me. I can't wait to see pictures of everything!

There really is too much complaining on the Spawn.com board. It gets me how there are threads that are so negative, then the ones that completely kiss ass. From one extreme to the next.

The funny thing is.... I feel so FREE being over here, that it doesn't really bother me that there is so many sad, misguided people over there.

I guess my thread was an attemp to give some cash to some drunken bums....

It's the toy company's job to impress me and then I give them some money.

McF's just the only company out there that I get almost everything by (no sports)~

Doku... the Movie Maniacs line has never been my favorite, so I guess that's one reason it doesn't burn my ass the way some people feel about it.

I see Robocop, Hicks, Leatherface, and three 12" figures as JUST WHAT HORROR FANS WANT.... and the others as directed towards a select group.

I think that since I know people who work at three different toy companies and that I hear all the HORROR STORIES about licensing and the people holding the licenses makes me look at a line like MM and wonder how you can get more than three licenses in there in the first place. [img]smile.gif[/img]
