Its once a month, and this Saturday (6th) is the return of Wildside! Everything sleaze-glam-glitter-punk-metal!
I dont really need to say anything but check out the website http://wildside.rocknights.co.uk for everything you need to know about it.
Also for printable fliers to get in for ?1 that night!!
Just wondering...has anyone on here been before? And if so what did you think?
-
Not been yet, but I want to give it a try soon. Can't make this one though. Might have to wait till summer.
Looking at your set-lists, it'd be right up my street. A change of scenery from my usual Saturday haunts would be nice too.

Havent been either, but I come up to Nottingham to party once in a while,so will possibly come to check it out in the summer as well.Keep us posted abot the dates Al.Soundz kewl

Now that looks like a fun night...can't make it ths time (the in-laws are visiting from Dahn Sarf) but I'll try and get to the April one.
Now, I don't know Nottingham that well, whereabouts are you in relation to Rock City? I saw the map on yer site but, as I say, I don't really know my way around so most of it meant nowt to me.
Also, any chance of getting some Lords Of The New Church played in April?

wotcha Lee!
Its really the other way from Rock City, its quite close to the town square with the fountains. Just ask anyone where Hockley (trendy area of nottingham) and "The Pit & Pendulum" pub is. Everyone should know where the Pit is, its a gothic themed chain pub. There two entrances to the Pit, one on either side. One side theres a road, on the other its a pedestrianised street. You want the pedestrianised side, and its opposite the Pit, a little bit further down in the way of the town square. Its a small doorway and entrance, so you could quite easily miss it! But it does have a big illuminated sign above the door.
Havent got or heard any Lords! Ooops! But I'll go see if I can download any

I you want a good map of Nottingham City Centre, this is one that I use (PDF format);
http://www.nottinghamcity.gov.uk/map...citycentre.pdf
All the places of interest, including Rock City, are marked, and the street that Spiders (Wildside) is on there too.

Thanks for that Stace!
Spiders is in grid I9, on Pelham Street there

Cheers Sherri!

OK!
Its WILDSIDE time again this month!!
Saturday 3rd April
If you love everything Crue, PBF, LAGuns, Cinderella, Hanoi, Robin Black, New York Dolls, Kiss, Skid Row, Faster Pussycat, etc etc then get yer asses down!
Its only ?1 with a flyer before 11!
(email me at if you need one)
This one is the crunch one for us at the current club we're at. Attendance is fine, but its all about takings at the bar (where Spiders makes its money) and what the brewery want. Put simply, we're not making enough at the bar so we still need more people in. This is not uncommon for the other nights there at the club, as many have already shut down, it needs more support as not enough people have heard about it! And what with Rock City seemingly getting rid of the glam in the Rig...
...do you want to be left totally glamless (apart from if youre lucky enough to be in London and have Decadance)? NO!
...do you want to miss out on the best sleazy rawk night this countries offered in YEARS? NO!
ok im done!
haha
