Taken from my very own game. First, here are my computer specs.
AMD AthlonXP 2400
512mb RAM
ATI Radeon 9600xt
I'm running at 1024x768 on Ultra detail, and it runs beautifully.

That's odd. I have the same specs aside from the processor speed, and I can't run it any higher than Medium detail.

You said 1280 on the other forum ... I still can't see how it's possible; Doom 3 at Ultra setting uses 512 megs of memory for uncompressed textures ... and you only have a 256 meg card at most and a half gig of RAM.
I can see running it at 1024 Ultra, but certainly not 1280x1024 or 1600x1200 ... a fresh install of Windows won't help that.

Yep I did bobo, but I posted earlier today that I bumped the res down to 1024, because it started to chug down to around 19-20 fps when I hit a particularly detailed room. Now I generally hover between 30-60.

I also proved my FPS claims to Grizzly_Adams after he called me a "lying, flying sack of shit".

Hey cr0w, have you tried running timedemo demo1 yet? I'd be interested in seeing what kind of results you get with different resolutions / settings.

Looks great, but I'm gonna get it on Xbox since my PC isn't too powerful and I mainly only use a computer at work.

YOU bastard. I hate you.
