I just got a PM from someone who I know knows what she's talking about, and here's what she said I could share with you all about Felicity:
"Contrary to some of the rumors I've seen on the board, at this time there is not a planned catalogue relaunch for Felicity this year.
However, two of her items will be brought out of retirement this fall."

Only two items ?!!? I have to say I am really disappointed if that is it. That hardly makes up for her collection being virtually nothing at this point. That is not going to stop the ebay madness or even slow it down.
My guess the two things will be the school outfit (since they decided not to retire her Windsor chair) and the riding habit since the horse still exists.
The girl needs some of her accessories back too!

Two items is a good start at least! I hope they sell really well so that they will be encouraged to bring back more.
I'm glad. I have a poor Felicity with no clothes but her meet outfit waiting for me to get around to buying some things for her!

What bugs me most about all this is that Felicity's items were retired because she wasn't selling enough but with her collection cut to the bone, why would anyone collect her to start with so her sales are at risk of declining further. Talk about a vicious cycle. I suppose if two items are brought back, it will be a test of sorts to see if demand is really there but it sounds as though Mattel is being extremely cautious about bringing out any new historical product.

My guess is that the work dress and school dress will be brought back first. They appear in the earlier storys. They are simpler designs and will probably cost less to make than the riding habit.
On the other hand the riding habit is a solid color and would not have to be from specially made fabric.
It is a bit disturbing that AG can produce AGT fashions rapidly to take advantage of current fashion trends and other fads. Yet they did nothing about the Felicity problem for a long time.
Sorry I can't divulge more, everyone! I don't even know any more. I don't know what items they will be. And the person who told me wants to remain anonymous. But she has been right before!
