Why not put ONE sticky up top for all retailers to post deals, etc.?
All retailer's offers would be at the top, take up only one thread, and can be updated without being bounced all over the board.
I think it solves both sides of the argument...?

Problem is that retailers will grew by the days, and I don't want to see them fighting for our bussiness........well, I do want to see them fighting. [img]tongue.gif[/img]
But seriously, I have already my daily dose of advertisement and ads everytime I open the Internet.....
That could work........ maybe leave each offer up for like 48 hours.

We as customers WOULD win in the end, wouldn't we?
Besides, it's all contained in one thread. If you don't want to see retailer's ads/ deals, you don't have to click on that topic! Just move on a nd shut up...and let those who want good deals have the option to look within that thread.

Cripes! Just let them post normal. If no one is interested in their deals the post will sink.
Plus if they are all in one thread I'm not inclined to keep reading it. It's their subject line that grabs people's attention.
If a retailer gets out of hand...ban their ass. That simple!
Andyman does have a good point here.
I've been thinking on this today, and to be honest I don't think leaving a sticky realted to them is a good idea.
I think individual posts are more than adequate and serve the purpose well for what they are. We are going to read the posts, act on them when we can, and dig them up if we wait a while and want to re read them.
