I have a question as to how YOU would handle this situation from a customer service standpoint:
scenario:
customer places a preorder in march 2004 for the infernal parade set and requests in the comments section: "please email me when my credit card is charged"
Now, as you all know if you have placed preorders with us, we DONT charge credit cards until a day or two before the product arrives for shipping
So I processed his order, billing his credit card two days before they arrived to ship.....send his product,etc.....i also sent our customary email notification that his card was charged, when it would ship, yadda,yadda, yadda
TODAY, he emails me back all pissed off that his credit card was charged without his knowledge (he had since CHANGED his email address)....now he wants me to reimburse him $20 for his overdraft charges from his bank....I guess its MY fault he changed his email address and never saw the notification A-N-D that he doesnt have a POT TO PISS IN money wise and a lousy $70 charge caused an overdraft on his account....my question to you is..:
DO I:
1. refund him the $20 even though I dont feel I should have to (customer service above and beyond)
2. tell him to shove it up is asshole (but in a nicer way

3-you can't take responsabilities for a moron changing his email adress.
You sent him an email and it didn,t reach him well it,s his fault. He changed his email.

Well it is actually his own fault if he changes the email and not telling you. How can you know but if you dont want any hassel and bitching then just give him the money.

But if you give him back his cash, tell him you know a guy that reads mind and actually sells toys and that it may be more suitable for him to deal with him next time
