Fusion Metal

Hey EveryBloody,

I thought I would post a drumcam vid of my band from a recent show. We play Metal with a tad of fusion influence.Right Click and Save Target As...

Yeah, "metal"'s not one of my fave styles, but i can def respect some of the things that are done in it for shore, esp the energy, tight synchop rhythms, & the drummers, & I def dig your playing in the genre, FT..."you go, boyee"

Are you doing that "tense up your legs, nervous twitch" kind of thing there? I've seen guys do that but you have fantastic control of it.

When playing double bass that fast do you typically have to trigger your kick drums or is that live?

I am pretty much using my whole legs and lower body all at once. A lot of hips. It's the kind of technique that happens by necessity. Thanks!
