Is this true or is it just another case of internet gossip gone wild?

If it is true, that's pathetic. There'll probably be legal action against them and they should be done with football IMO.

I would hope that it isn't true. I haven't heard if it is just internet gossip or not. I would hope that the younger set would have enough moral upbringing than to vandalize school property, especially since it is within the same county. Their own parents tax dollars are being spent on what is being destroyed, that is the saddest part of it IMHO.

What do I have to be scared of? You don't think vandalism's illegal?

11 players were suspended from school for 3 days, 9 of which are starters. They won't be playing agaisnt Tazewell tonight. I seriously can't believe they did that, not only what they did was very wrong and illegal, but selfish as well; now the whole team is being hurt by 9 starters not playing tonight. I agree with Quincy, they shouldn't be allowed back on the team this year, but the guilty players will be back for the playoffs.

Its always something on this team, I remember the season before last a couple days before Honaker faced Gate City in the regional finals, 4 key starters were suspended for 10 days and kicked off the team when the drug dogs found marijuana in their vehicles and lockers. It just goes to show how the actions of a few hurt so many.

It is true. It was an unfortunate decision by 11 guys that they will have to pay for for sometime. They though it was in retaliation for something earlier but it got carried away. It disapponted alot of folks.

There is no justice at all if any of these kids are allowed back in school this year. What they did was criminal. An adult would not get off with a slap on the wrist. They wanted to play why shouldn't they pay ??
