happy tree friends

firsts things first on the new yahoo messenger (its not really that new) are those little atributes you can use to say hello or what not. well there is this set called the happy tree friends. quite cute i always thought... that was until the experience i had with them today [img]eek.gif[/img]

i was watching the music channel on our tv, C4 tonight waiting for the new show to start where there is this little skit. kind of like a little cartoon add filler. how cute i thought and continued watching. i quickly realised wow those are the characters from yahoo.

meet giggles who i consider to be the main character. the victum if you will. there was also another character who i couldnt find. a blue happy tree friend who was the 'superhero' i believe.

now let me tell you about the little skit...
giggles from the looks of it had a broken leg and was at the beach when this big tidal wave forms so giggles is hoping along trying to run quickly from the wave on crutchers so she doesnt go splat. you can hear giggles crying when we get a cutaway shot to see the blue happy tree friend (HTF) hearing her cry for help so the HTF puts his superman like cape on and flies over to where giggles is and just in the nick of time picks giggles up and rescues her while they fly away. *phew* i hear you all say... wouldnt want poor little giggles to go splat would we.

then as we see blue HTF flying giggles and her broken leg in the sky they fly past a tree but as it happens this tree has branchs (oddly enough) and giggles head goes smacked into the branch and off with the head. blood is pissing everywhere. [img]eek.gif[/img] what the fuck i think. what sort of thing is this? the blue HTF looks kinda dismal and then notices an accorn at the bottom of the tree so picks up the accorn and plonks in on giggles as a new head. yeah here im still thinking what the fuck!?!?!? [img]confused.gif[/img]


so back on his journey again goes the blue HTF only to return to what i imagine is giggles saddened mother to return giggles with this accorn as her head and a drawn on face. giggles mother is over joyed to see giggles not noticing that infact she is hugging her dead squirle daughter thing with an accorn for her head which just so happens to fall off and more blood pisses out again.

this is the end of the skit and im still sitting at the tv thinging WHAT THE FUCK!?!?! where they give the credits and then the ever so charming statement: dont forget to stop and smell the roses
