Any good r'n'b DVD's?

Just wondered if any of you guys know of any live rnb DVD's with good drummers e.g. Gerald Heyward, Brian Frasier-Moore, John Blackwell etc.

All feedback is much appreciated

John Blackwell plays on it. Recorded 1998. Great playing...

Glenn Lewis has a DVD out with Brian Frasier-Moore on drums. In fact I think he was the MD on that gig. Anyway, it's pretty good. Glenn has a great voice. [img]graemlins/thumbs_up.gif[/img]

Well, Fish does a great job with Justin Timberalake, but you have to see Timberlake...
There is a great DVD with Babyface Unplugged in NYC, Ricky Lawson is awesome, Sheila E on percussion/vocal, Nathan East, Stevie Wonder, it's just INCREDIBLE !!!

The Beyonc?'s DVD with Gerald Heyward is not so good, or maybe I need to see it again...
But it's like with Timberlake, not so much view for the musicians, it's just about the artist and the dancers, it's just sad...

Anyway.

i have the earth wind and fire live cd that came out around 98'? i heard there was a dvd out of that same show. it has sonny emory on the drums. just great arrangements going in and out of different tunes. scott mayo's on sax and of course mr. bailey singin up in the canine register [img]wink.gif[/img] killer medleys.

That Experience Jill Scott 826+ album is simply amazing. As for DVD's, I saw that Blackwell was mentioned in the Patti Labelle one. He's also on a live Prince DVD, "Prince Live At The Aladdin Las Vegas". Real solid stuff, has some damn funky stuff on it too. Some of the songs take on a real James Brown approach (Maceo Parker helps in this category). Def worth checking out, I picked my copy up at Best Buy.

This maybe too 'old school', but there's a great re-release of the classic: Chaka Khan Live at The Roxy '81, now available on dvd as: Chaka Khan The Signature Diva featuring the great Steve Ferrone and the Breckers blowing away. [img]wink.gif[/img]

This one with Chaka Khan is great, Steve Ferrone groove like a badass !!!
And it's Anthony Jackson on bass.
