Hello, hello, hello !
First things first ... got my 2 Kincaids this morning ... FedEx charges were $ 73.71 for a forecasted 4 weeks delivery. TMF ... SHAME ON YOU, SHAME ON YOU, SHAME ON YOU ... and I leave it there like that. Period.
What have Max been up to in the past, what ? Days, weeks, months ??? Well I am overwhelmed with work and have very little time for everything else. That said I managed to pick up things here and there and today I ve 5 minutes to show you some of the stuff that has come to Ireland lately. So hold on because a few things may cause strokes and, ultimately, premature death by swag ...
To kick start, a fresh, beautiful copy of Daredevil # 1. I flew back 35 years when I touched this comic, very same that you do when you play Myst to move for a world to another. Never ending thanks to whom helped me to get this issue.

Next in line an item that jumped straight to number one in my list of favorites. Props to the man who helped me getting this. It means a lot to me ... I might actually forget how much I have been charged for my Kincaids ... HE KNOWS MY NAME. My mission is over.

More props go to the chap who got me Daredevil 1. We are working together on the next Irish Spawn exclusive. Much to my disappointment I doubt I will be able to issue it by this coming Xmas, but the figure has been so well repainted and Irish Spawned that waiting a bit longer won't change a thing. I am as usual working on a label and I already have contacted the MAN himself who will gracefully signed the labels. Our aim is to produce 25, of which, as usual, a good bunch of them will flew directly to my friends, some of them are on this board, some of them are not. For the rest there will be plenty of competitions in order to get one. For now you can enjoy a POOR Irish picture of it.

I have no idea how many pics you can submit in one thread, so I keep it 4 per each. Last of this batch is an awesome Marvel collector 12" Punisher figure. Props to the friend who helped me catch one of these. Very hot material.

"... and the tale goes on and on and oooooon ...". Any Maiden fans out there ? Which song is this verse from ?
Let's move on with more and more punishment. I picked this 12" statue in a shop in New York. Heavy mofu, but nonetheless a lesson in violence in my opinion.
http://www.irishspawn.com/12102004/DSC01751.JPG
More Punisher ... this is a loose new 6" figure based on T Jane's movie. He looks more like Mork of Mork & Mindy, but still he is black, mean and has huge weapons. Not to mention that creepy skull on his chest.

Much to my pleasure I picked up on Ebay a 12" Bowen statue. I had the 6" version for months now. This guy here is so much cooler and looks like he wants my money, or maybe he just wants to be left alone.

When I saw this bust for the first time I almost fainted. How cool and mean is he ? This is the extra shadow version. I actually prefer this to the regular one. Shaved heroes are not mean !

Punishment - a nice way to justify pure violence.
This cryptic picture shoudl represent the new Punisher Movie 12" collector set. Can't see a fecking thing, I know ... but at least you get a close up of the new Punisher Tin lunch box.

This is an overview of the extended Punisher area. I can walk on toys now, literally.
http://www.irishspawn.com/12102004/DSC01756.JPG
Lame to you, but it took me one and half year to find these Punisher pogs. I thought it was worth show it to you.
http://www.irishspawn.com/12102004/DSC01757.JPG
These are the 2 editions of the 6" Pun figure for the movie. Also a nice copy of a DFE Marvel Knights and in the back a nice present from a "local authority", a free free comic day free comic ... uh there is also a pun postcard ... would you believe I hadn't had the time yet to go and see the movie ???

Punisher swag anybody ?
A watch, a necklace, the original Frank Castle wallet (only 2 bucks in it, cheap bastid), a zippo (he DOES NOT SMOKE !!! but he likes to light up people) and I think there should be a small earing or such. Anyhoo ... AKA a bunch of crap ...

I got one of these (or better it was given to me) when I was at the BBQ. Great idea IMO, lovely Spawn swag piece.
http://www.irishspawn.com/12102004/DSC01760.JPG
This is also part of the BBQ swag haul. I did not even know there was a zamboni variant and this came signed by mr. T. Uber Haul !!!
http://www.irishspawn.com/12102004/DSC01761.JPG
This nice framed piece has actually a bit of 35mm film embedded in it. Notice the frame, black and tidy and the gold plaque and ... STOP LOOKING AT THOSE SKULLS, I am not gonna tell you what they are, just use your imagination ...

gosh, this is taking way longer than the 5 minutes I had !
Anyhoo ... I always disliked mini-mates. This Pun-Cap America set from the last SDCC is no exception, I should have left it where I bought it.
http://www.irishspawn.com/12102004/DSC01763.JPG
A nice set of Iced Earth guitar picks. There is a little Spawn here and there. Costed way too much but still I like it.
http://www.irishspawn.com/12102004/DSC01764.JPG
Next a couple of scans of other little goodies I brought back from the BBQ. Spawn custom cards (one of them actually says I am a bastid, bastids !), toe tags (loved the dead man impersonation mr. Victim, and a couple of nice stickers I never seen before ...)

A light, in the shadows or just a fear, of the dark !
Spawn clock ! HUGE, MASSIVE and working. Tic-toc, tic-toc ... it's Spawn time !
http://www.irishspawn.com/12102004/DSC01767.JPG
Posters ! I got many of them lately. No time to hang them around so they just hang from the back of a door in the attic. This one is a chinese prop for the Soul Calibur II game.
http://www.irishspawn.com/12102004/DSC01768.JPG
I tried this adult size costume on. IT FITS !!! Jane says I look good in it, it gives me some muscle definition. I was tempted to keep it on. She said "I was kidding". Pity. Plus a nice hot wheels Spawn dragster with no bats on the hood. 3 years in the hunting, finally it is now landed in Ireland.
http://www.irishspawn.com/12102004/DSC01769.JPG
Tokk me also 3+ years to fins a nice copy of this Spawn FAN Platinum foil edition. Set me back a 100+ but God I was happy to have finally tracked it !

More comics ...
This first one is a number 18 german edition of Spawn the big run. Very limited variant, so called the Movie edition. D'oh !
http://www.irishspawn.com/12102004/DSC01771.JPG
This is the infamous third variant of Spawn # 5 german edition, so called Thermo Cover. It took me 2+ years to figure out the background of this issue. 3 edition were made, purple cover, yellow cover and transaprent cover (available as a mail away offer). The little german I speak helped a lot in track and wack this chap. Came with COA and letter from the company that details the story about these thermo covers. And now you telkl me there was a letter explaining how this worked ???

AHHHHHHHHHHH ! HArdcover books. 9 down, 2 to go. One of my fave pieces of swag in the entire collection (as a whole, of course). These I got via a good friend who I thank you very much for his help and involvement. The following 2 are Curse of The Spawn Volume 2 and Spawn big run volume 6 (THE ORANGE BOOK !). Another one will follow ...

This guy here is Spawn Hardcover volume 7. THE BLACK BOOK !
http://www.irishspawn.com/12102004/DSC01775.JPG
Here is a nice 9.8 CCG copy of Spawn #1. I unfortunately lost on Ebay a 10.0 copy the very same day I got this one. Still valuable and nooooice. Very toight !
http://www.irishspawn.com/12102004/DSC01776.JPG
Damn the memory stick of my cam is full so I have only these last 2 pictures to show you today. I have something like 6 months worth of hunting that have never been scanned for my website as yet. Maybe 3 times as much of what I showed you today. Maybe next time.
To finish for the day, a cute Spidey clingy thingy I got off a Tayto crisps display in my local grocery shop. When I asked the owner if I could have it he said "not today". The following week he gave me the all fecking display thing. I had to toss it becasue it was HUUUGE but the clingy thingy I had to keep. Cute.

Last thing is yet another poster. This one is quite rare, was printed as prop for Spawn SS2 and has angela on it. Sweet.

Ok lads and lasses. Hope you enjoyed the ride. I cannot promise I will post more pictures soon, but I will at some stage.
I wish you all the best and have a good time.
Max - the Irish guy (lol)
