Roger's the man! Congrats! Keep sending those mp3s
Speaking of HOD members, well this one is about the founder...
I was looking through the Zildjian site (vault) and listening to the K rides and beside each model they have "who is playing" that type of ride and Steve Holmes was mentioned beside the K Custom Light Dry ride! That was cool to see. I didn't think his endorsement was at THAT level, very cool.
AND...
I will be on the cover of MODERN DRUMMER magazine for the December issue, so look out for that pretty soon!
(I WISH!)

Hey Randy,
Thank for the news...
Drum is an English magazine ?
If so, I think that I have to give a thank to my friend Ian Croft who might work there...
Maybe some of you know him, he was working with Zildjian in the past, and with Sonor too...
He's a sweet gentle Guy.
Chris,
Thanks your kind words.
Peace.

Right on, Scot! How did you manage to get the endorsement?
I am about to go for one with Sabian, but I'm making sure I am totally ready and my press-kit is 100%... oh, and my band needs to get a video on MTV... I don't expect loads of free cymbals, but I have always wanted to be accepted into that "family".
<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">Nice one. Hey, a few months ago, I bought a new 20" Agop signature ride from cymbalsonly. Man, those cymbals are sweet. Dark as anything, very thin, absolutely gorgeous. Just like this one:Quote:

"Scot Lorenzini / Coby Brown"
It is a small mention, but it is nice to be recognized!

I met the CEO at the Hollywood Drum Show last year, and we had a great conversation which turned into a meeting about endorsement opportunities. I went to his office in downtown Los Angeles and submitted a bio package. That day I was in their warehouse for about 5 hours picking out cymbals. They are a great company to work with because they are small and treat you like family! Not to mention, they make some of the best sounding cymbals in the world!
N 40, Drum! is based out of California.
Brad
Rudy, if you get the chance try out Istanbul's Traditional line, they sound and feel like the old K's! They record so beautifully and are just as versatile for any live situation (pop, jazz, rock).
For anyone that's interested in hearing Roger's playing you can pick up either of these two great albums. I highly recommend both!
