I'd <u>never</u> get plastic surgery for cosmetic (as opposed to legitimate reconstructive or similar) reasons. IMO people that have plastic surgery purely for cosmetic reasons have low self-esteem and are depending on external validation for their self-worth. And the really sad thing is most women who have stuff like that done already look better than the average woman before they even have the surgery, yet they still feel they don't look good enough??? I just don't understand why people can't be happy with what they have/the way they were born.

I'm all about doing whatever you want to your body. I'd never get anything implanted in myself, sort of a phobia of mine, but I don't think it's necessarily bad for other women.
But who the HELL thinks those big ass lips are attractive? Some women have a fucked up version of what good looking is because some of those plastic girlies are sick!

BD and Pappette, I didn't say anything about people having a right to do whatever they want through cosmetic surgery. I think Pappette touched on more what my point was, the reasons why people do that. Almost without exception it's because of what they read/see/are "told" over and over again in the media/society. Again, IMO they are acting out of the need to get external validation for their self-worth by fitting someone else's vision of what the "perfect woman" is supposed to look like, instead of being happy and confident with what they have. You can't get a more beautiful natural babe than Salma Hayek. She has great feminin hips that fits her beautifull natural boobs (unlike J-Lo big butt/small breast combo.) The little touch of mexican/Lebanese blood plus the accent makes it, at least for me, the Uber Babe
