Twister Sister & Saving Grace

Saving Grace started last night and Rae you would have loved it. Mom was in bed early, not realizing it was the season premier. Anyway there are a couple of new shows soming out that seem interesting. The Sarah Connor Chrionicles...a spin off show that takes place two years after Terminator II. The premise is that Sarah stops running from the robots and she and John start fighting them. I believe that premiers the 12th & 13th of Jan. I think. The other is Twister Sister which is about two sister who storm chase. They do in real life and I have seen them on the Discovery channel. When does Idol start?

Ooh, I've seen the Sarah Connor Chronicles pilot a few months ago. (Got leaked.) It's not great, but it's good. I'm interested to see where it's going. It also sorta pretends T3 never happened. It mucks up the whole terminator lore, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. Smallville also abandoned the official Supermanstory and that turned out okay. (Not that I would recommend *that* show to anyone but the extremely geeky. Everything superhero makes me burn with desire. For action, I mean. Superhero-action, I mean. You know what I mean! Geez, get your mind out of the gutter, lady!)

In addition to Rippy, the cast also includes Kenneth Johnson (The Shield) as Grace?s partner; Gregory Norman Cruz (Criminal Minds) as detective Bobby Stillwater; Bailey Chase (Las Vegas) as detective Butch Ada; Bokeem Woodbine (The Big Hit) as a death row inmate who figures into Grace?s struggle and Laura San Giacomo (Just Shoot Me) as the criminalist who, despite having strong religious beliefs, is the only one in Grace?s life who does not judge her.


Soooooo...you can actually go to their web site and watch last seasons episodes. It comes on Monday nights at 10 PM, which is perfect for me.

I hope the twister sister show doesn't create a bunch of chasers...I worry that it might mess up our fun..LOL

Maybe we will run into them and if they cause too much congestion on the highway to better tornadoes...well we will just kick their asses.

Oh and Saving Grace sounds very interesting so I will look into it!

I am not sure I have room in my day to add another show...what is Saving Grace about? I could definitely get into the storm chasing sisters though.

It actually does. Slong as it's not too mushy. I hate it when good shows get ruined by faux-sentimental garbage. I do like Holly Hunter though. She's extremely funny, has great timing, and the sort of face that'll make you believe she's actually confused/upset/angry/surprised when she plays it.

No mushiness on this show. She is great in everything she does. I was suprised that on TNT they allow cussing and sex and nudity and stuff like that. Not that I am a prude **SEG** but I didnt know they did that. It's not like it is Cinemax or whatever.

Cinemax? That sounds like a fun channel. Like a cinema, but to the max. But I take from the context that it airs nudity?

Nudity!? They were having all out sex and she was on top!! I was surprised....but maybe because it comes on after 10? I dunno. But its a great show...except when she sleeps with the coroner...icky

Robin..I've been watching saving grace...I like that show...Holly Hunter plays such a pig...I really like her..

Hoetime? Is that an actual channel or a reference to my beloved Showtime? No one badmouthes Showtime and lives!

Downloaded Saving Grace. My online tv guide said it was a good jumping-in point yesterday, so I thought I'd give it a try. I'll let you know what I think.

Yes I meant Showtime and if you were gonna kill me, you could have done it before the power went out!!!

Just checking....the phone call the other night was rather fun. I was in bed, a bit buzzed from the wine my neighbor brought over to go with dinner AND I had a pounding headache...at one time, I think I actually dozed off while you were talking. LOL but eventually came to and was able to finished our conversation.


Saving Grace comes on tonite. Don't miss it.
