Jay,yeah,she has friends that she jams with and I know eventually something will come together. she was trying the guitar out a few weeks back at Guitar center and some guys a little older than her asked her to join them too. She's pretty good,so needless to say I'm pretty excited to have a lil shredder girl here!

What style of music does she prefer, and does she glam it up any?
oh noo ewww,no limp here. She's into bands like Green day,Linkin park,Breaking benjamin,staind,The ramones,Hoobastank,Ac/Dc..etc. She's not really glam,more goth skater punk...blue/black hair,pierced nose,eyebrow,dark eyeliner,element clothes,you know typical 14 year old stuff. She does listen to what I listen to though and I've been able to turn her on to some glam. She's really serious about it too so I'm proud of her.
No Triscuit, that's good. I hope you gave her some kewl cds to practice on that Rich.

yes,she got some cool CD's,among other things,and also a digitech death metal petal so she can make it scream. Hot topic,definitely her fav along with zumies and Pac Sun. Kids are expensive!!! LOL!
Donna, yes. As I understand, children are expensive to raise. That being so, isn't it worth it, knowing you are leaving the best legacy to the world you possibly could?
I hope your daughter gets a good band together. Her story reminds me a bit of how Lita Ford started, jamming with older boys who appreciated her guitar prowess.
A legacy,maybe. I kind of look at it like I gave the world 3 beautiful human beings who are thier own entities. they came through me,but are not me,they are thier own and what they give the world is up to them. maybe it's different for men because they usually are looking for someone to carry a name. I just want them to be happy. Lita ford,yes indeed,that would be a lovely scenario,we'll see. Definitely an expense well worth it...kids that is.
