Got this from some cat on ebay.
It's pretty good.
I'm hosting it from my web site which runs off my computer, limiting the upload bandwidth to 60KB, so if someone could get it and host it somewhere faster, it would make it easier for everyone.

its getting to be a nightmare to download this! its really slow like as in it sayss there are 24 hours left and sometimes it till just say download error...would anyone else be kind enough to host this or put it on yousendit.com or soundclick.com

I took the noise out. Took it down to ogg so you have to convert it.

tHIS IS THE SECOND BEST vINNIE CLINIC i'VE HEARD, THE '98 BEING THE BEST. i ENJOY HEARING vINNIE SPEAK...ooops, caps lock on...What I really liked is hearing what Vinnie was into in that moment back in '88 and how he thinks about drumming. This is history being VC is such a key componet to musical history (drums).
Any more clinics out there???

However, that guy near the recorder moaning constantly like his juevos were in a vice is some really weird, ridiculously eerie shit. Each time you acheive "tuning it out," there he goes again even louder. He couldve just taken a scat in his Hilfigers. And it's not like it only happens a few times either. The guy recording it shouldve reached over to "his buddy" & done the back of the head smackdown on this guy. [I hope it wasn't in fact the guy who actually DID record it - Doh!] He was really gettin' hammered by the VinMan!

For Macs, I went to apple.com and found and a program called amadeus II in the made4mac section. Went to the website downloaded the demo. Imported the Vinnie Ogg file exported dual mono so I could convert it to AIFF. Then erased the amadeus demo from my hard drive because it ate up about a gig of space. It worked for me.
I was at this clinic and I think I recorded it with a portable cassette recorder. I'll have to look for the tape.
I use dBpowerAmp to covert my audio. [img]cool.gif[/img]

let me chime in here with a big THANK YOU. I'm going to increase the capacity of HOD and host this file for starters. It's a great clinic obviously, super-human technique and phrasing as always. Funny hearing Lang, and then something like this. So much more depth and musicallity.
I use the phrase ear-raping from time to time. After hearing these guys in the audience it almost sounds like a literal case. Funny stuff.

What a piece of pure gold.....the ogg file threw me for a bit though - atlthough I've ben able to listen to it via Winamp, but as yet have no idea how to convert it to a WMA or MPs format - any help is mucho appriciato as I'd like to commit this nugget to CD - any moreinfo???

When I saw Vinnie in 1998 at the Montreal Drum Fest, totally different experience. That event remains for me, by far, the best drum performance I've ever witnessed in my life. Talk about being left with an impression... Randy Waldman and Dave Carpenter performed alongside too.

Schreck, it appears English is not your first language. You may want to be careful when accusing someone of not showing respect. "It's funny" is just an expression, not to be taken literally. Do not be so quick to point fingers when you don't have a full grasp of the language please.
I respect Lang, he is an amazing drummer.
