I don't know if you caught it... but the header shows one of the military figures.
http://www.spawn.com/toyfest/images/2005.2.header.jpg
you forgot the new Elvis.
in the gold lamee(sp) suit.
the rest of the figs could suck, and that alone would make it worth my while.
some good choices in Reborn (apart from Raven Hellspawn, he's still pretty new, and Lilith, becuse, well...ugh), and potential goodness in ser 28, although Todd did lie to me on the radio, if memory serves.
Crue 2?
which album?
the other stuff doesn't really interest me.
but this is more goodies than I expected.
like I said, Elvis alone saved their collective arse.

The only Elvis figure I need will be #6.... fat, bloated and vomiting on himself on the toilet.
jk man....
That's pretty much it I think (for now... they didn't mention the Military line (even though it's pictured above) and there's another line that must still be in the works. (and Steve will cut my nuts off if I even hint about it again)
The Spawn lines are kickin' for me.... Mandarin 2 and a URIZEN boxed set??? OH HOW SWEET...
Top it off with Wallace and Grommet and we've got some nice stuff coming out. (and we haven't even talked about MM8 yet. )
British claymation. Google it.Quote:
Who the hell are Wallace & Gromit?
One of the greatest ever.
YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS
wallace and gromit and spawn 28 are enough to keep me happy until 2006!!
SWEET!!!!!!!!!!!!!
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v1...r/10f840dd.jpg
this is fucking amazing.
see, it does some good when I bust their balls all the time...
I take Elvis like I take KISS...keep makin' them, I'll keep buying.
hell, he did 33 movies (not sure if that's including the documentaries or not)...that's a lot more E figs...
I'm betting the Dark Ages stuff got bumped to Series 29. It's happened before (lines changing names and or locations)
The Dragon line was originally supposed to be "Babes and Dragons".... but part of that splintered off and became Conan... and then the Dragons came out seperately.
I love this
http://www.spawn.com/toys/horror/mon...hoto_01_dp.jpg
it will be my 2nd female mcf fig after the first angela
weird...
well, it better be ser 29...
or Todd will have two more balls to take on that tour.
his own.

Well this will be the first year for me I'm not getting everything-
Spawn & Monsters, maybe AvP, maybe Movie Maniacs........
kinda good, cause there's some other guys' cool stuff this year~
..............
I love that Humpty Dumpty
[ January 21, 2005 12:42 AM: Message edited by: Street Worm ]
Well, so far, it looks like another low McToys haul year for me. Pretty much all I am interested in are...
Corpse Bride figures and maybe the 3"ers
Simpsons, MAYBE
Zombie Spawn, if he rocks
and I think that is about it
I like the Miss Muffet concept, and the spider rocks, but I don't like how Muffet looks. I would be all over the Crue box set, but I am sure it will be Theater of Pain or Girls, Girls, Girls, and I only care for their first two albums. And what? No KISS figures?
I am still hoping for some decent characters in MM8, but I sure as hell am not holding my breath.
I must say though, it is nice to see McToys being more diverse this year.
I really feel that McFarlane has been spreading out in a good way.
When it was just the Sports versus "Toys" there was alot of animosity and "WHY?????"...
... but now with Movies, Sports, Animation, Music, Spawn, Horror, etc.... there really is SOMETHING FOR EVERYONE (not necessarily EVERYTHING for everyone. )
the only ones i am gettin are the Urizen Box Set and Gretel
the rest can go to others
I cannot get even remotely excited about S28 without pics, since the fig names already have images in my mind.
Wallace and Gromit are a fucking god-send.
Humpty is a steaming pile of shit. Worst figure ever.
I'll likely pick up 4 of the Reborn.
I'd like to think I'll want ser 28, but I have my doubts that I will, and we all know why.
Urizen has never really interested me a whole lot.
I almost got one for a gift for someone, but didn't.
all the cartoon/animation stuff holds nothing for me.
but ELVIS, baby!!
I like seeing lines that are obviously well done... even if it doesn't interest me. That just tells me that the fans of that particular license are in for a treat.
The Spawn board is having a melt down....
http://baimun.home.comcast.net/spawn.jpg
I actually get it to look like that every so often.
Right now it just keeps crashing though.
