im just saying most those movies listed ive never even heard of. all im saying is the majority of roles depp has been in and is aclaimed for are all mostly burton movies. all his fame from them has landed him other roles. thats all i was saying. i could care less about him as an actor one way or another

Tim Burton films are high profile, and the mindless masses in the world only hear about high profile films. So they would think that Depp is only in Burton Films. But that is not the case, obviously, Depp has done more brilliant stuff without tim than with tim, and the stuff he did with tim is brilliant, so you do the math...
Why is ok for musicians to work with the same group of people their entire careers, but filmmakers can't?
I think he's gotten more acclaim from What's Eating Gilbert Grape, Benny & Joon, Chocolate and Blow...
