There was an article about this in the paper today, so I thought I'd look a few more things up on the subject so that anyone who wants to show off a bit by pairing up the two can do so this valentines day.

(Big hint)

If you show up with wine, the right chocolate and a single red rose, you can knock her socks off (many times literlly)
A basket behind the back with a bottle of wine and some chocolate and a single red rose in the other hand will work more often than not. (gotta do the smooch with the rose presentation)

Stop being jealous of me loser.

It doesnt bother me to not have a girlfriend, I enjoy the freedom.

Nothing against dating or marraige at all, just not in any kind of relationship.

By the way reason, I'd rather be dateless on valentines day than be gay.

back on track...any one want truffles for Valentines day, let me know. I have a killer formula for them, and if you pitch in for the ingredients, I'll make them.

They are best with a quality scotch or brandy as the alcohol in them.

I had some from Godiva over the holidays. They were pretty darn tasty.

I have to add one more thing.

For those who are single, like myself, valentines day does not have to be depressing.

Just do your thang. Take yourself out somewhere, get yourself a valentines gift. Women can get together with their other single friends and do a girls night out kinda thang. Men, go get yourself a nice dinner or something, or go get a couple coldies with the boys.

DON'T SIT AT HOME AND FEEL SORRY FOR YOURSELF! Nothing wrong with staying home for a quiet evening, just dont spend the night feeling sorry for yourself or feeling down about the fact that you dont have a valentine on valentines day. It's not the end of the world!

And if someone queastions what you're doing out by yourself on valentines day, just say "WHATEVER THE HECK I WANT"! LOL!
