The owner of that site put in a lot of work scanning all the Altec catalogues and JBL .

FWIW, I'm a member of Audiokarma as well as a long-time member of Lansing Heritage. The originators of the Lansing site, like so many of us,
are aging away from managing web sites and agreed to turn it over to the AK owners who want to keep all the knowledge accumulated there intact.
Lansing Heritage been migrated away from the servers it had been on, which caused some issues, but the big issue is the Lansing site was built using older
vBulletin forum software and has rarely been updated, so its WAY out of date. A vBulletin upgrade was planned a year ago, but has NOT occured yet.
Everyone is very pissed at this state of affairs, but are moving cautiously lest any of the valued knowledge be lost.
Preservation is very important to all involved - so please, be patient.
Vb was great, until they screwed it up. They took out the all fun. you could whip a up page in less than 5 minutes. with pictures, fonts, sizes, colors, anything could be button.
So what are we talking here ? Months ? Years ? Weeks ? Thanks for the updates on the progress.... :Thumbs up:Quote:
