hey glam fly, where's that GLAM fly avatar i did for ya?

I can't get it into the custom avatar, like I did before. Do I have to upload it into photobucket or something. i think I had to do that last time, but it's been awhile. I asked how to do it on the post you did for me but got no answer. BTW, I love the FLY and still want to get him as my avatar.
ok, I have this pic here that Joni made for me.

then, I went into my profile, and view/update profile,
then when it says download custom avatar here
http://www.hostboard.com/cgi-bin/ult...=upload_avatar
I was cutting and pasting this:
http://aerorocker.vila.bol.com.br/000925092.jpg
and it says it was uploaded, then to go back to my profile, but when I do the avatar isn't there.
What am I doing wrong?
nothing... i guess.
all you have to do is wait a few minutes until yer avatar is updated, i think....
I don't care if it's genuine or not, I nearly shat
my pants listening to that voicemail.

Dan, you need to choose 'Custom' on the drop-down avatar list.
You may also need to save the pic to your pc, and browse to it, rather than using a website address to upload it from.

I had done all that, but I just tried it again, and finally.......THERE HE IS!!
Thanks again Joni!
BTW, did everyone check out that voicemail?
Darren shat his pants it was so funny!
That's one dirty laugh that guy's got!
Dan, make sure the pic is 200x200 pixels and in jpg,gif or png format. Click 'profile' then 'view/update profile'. At the bottom of the avatar section on the left is a link to upload the pic. Then you just need to select 'Custom' at the top of the avatar drop-down list.
Actually, it doesn't need to be 200x200, but it just gives decent definition and a useable file size. Anything less than that would work just as well.
