what korn needs is a kick in the ass to clear out that hip-hop shit they tried to incorperate into their music. their self titled release is still fckn awesome to this day. since then their releases have been spotty at best.

But have you ever listened to the first album? Brutal stuff to say the least. The album is basically Jonathan Daniels (that's his name, right?) coming to terms with the shit he went through as a kid and into being an adult. From being molested as a kid to being picked on in school, and he is quite open with what he says, and it REALLY hits hard.

Korn's first cd I agree was way cool...I liked Life Is Peachy too....but after that...everything started to sound repetitive.
Speaking as a bass player, he says whiningly,
Stimpy Stumpy, or whatever the fuck his name is
from Korn, has the most horribly plinky-plonky-
plink-plonk-plink gay as fuck bass sound I've ever
had the displeasure of hearing. And he can also
shove his quasi-hip hop 'tude up his pendulous
wibbly-wobbly arse, too!
Saying that, I got sucked into the hype of their
first album, but only because I thought the
sequined Adidas tracksuits were sort of glam, in
their own little way.

My "'tude" comment comes from accidently watching
his MTV Cribs show. He seemed an OK guy, but there
something a bit nauseating about the way he
strutted about his 'pad' lauding it up about how
big his pool was, how fast his car was, how hip
his hip-hop attitude was, etc. Actually, I don't
care about this at all, I just care about the
direction my upturned hair takes whenever I hear
