Okay....is it me or is there something in the water around here??? *looks around* With all the pregnancies I am seriously afraid to drink the damn water. Speaking of which...I am gonna be an Aunt again in October. Babies cropping up everywhere...LOL.
-
I know eh? *L*...I went to my docs last week and omg you should of saw all the newborn babies *L i was doing alot of awweeessss...I cant wait until my little boy enters this crazy world *L...is it a boy by any chance? *L it seems thats all i have been seein lately little boys
-
She is due October 11th so they don't know yet. But for some reason around my nieces birthday in January I had a feeling she was pregnant and she would have just BARELY been pregnant then and she was...LOL. But with this one they are going to find out if they can. Hence if the little shit doesn't have its legs crossed like my niece did and stuff...LOL. I think they would like a little boy but either is fine as long as the baby is healthy.
-
Thank you *grins* I think its gonna be interesting to see how my niece handles being almost 8 years older. And she is an only child till this one is born so I am not sure how she is going to deal with having to share everything...LOL.
-
Congrats on becoming an aunt again.
-
Congrats
I'm sure your niece will adjust..in time*L*
-
I kind of like the idea of spoiling them rotten and sending them home, winding them up and sending them home....feeding them lots of sugar and sending them home...LOL. But then I remember that I haven't had kids yet and paybacks are a bitch...LOL.
-
oh shit I better remember that too *L*
-
Either we remember it or move far far away...LOL. Me moving far away is more likely *nods* I think I can deal with wound up children at week long intervals....least I hope I can.

Something tells me I better make sure my brother in law doesn't have any firearms on the premises....
-
-
Hell yeah...LOL. I know my sister would get even with me. I can see it ALL to clearly....LOL. If she has a boy I am gonna buy him a drum set...LMAO. Tell him..."No really...it's OKAY to start playing them at 5am on a Saturday morning."
-
oh Hell.....if he doesn't he'd just go borrow one from my Dad. Probably would go get my own 12 gauge...LOL. I guess they have a boy name tentatively picked out. And a little girl middle name picked out. The little girl middle name is the same one that a little girl I have will have and always has been because it is my middle name and I always felt I should be the one to carry the tradition on...but I guess like so many other things my sister has known I will have to either stay my course or do something different. *sigh* But Bryce Michael if it is a boy. And ------- Marie if it is a girl.
-
I love the name Bryce Michael and my little girl middle name is marie named after his mom and her first name is named after my brother in law...my poor little girl *L
-
Most of the women on my Mom's side have Marie as a middle name. Mine is Kristin Marie...lol. In our family it goes back several generations. It should be interesting to see what they come up with as a first name.
-
My Mom, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, mine, and several others in generations past all had the middle name of Marie as well as me. And if I ever have a little girl I want to carry on that tradition since it was passed down from my Mom's Mom to her to me. LOL.
-
Thailer i am naming him after my uncle and my nana
-
Sharing middle names seems to run in our family. My sister's daughter and my oldest daughter share one of their middle names. Plus her youngest son and my son share one of thier middle names. Also my middle name came from my grandmother and is also shared by my cousin and my youngest daughter.*L*

I have no idea where they got Kaela's name. Her middle name is Reese...still trying to figure out where that came from...LOL. Most baby names one has a link to family on one side or another it seems with Kaela's neither did. And since my sister and I both have odd spelled first names (not really odd just rare) she said "well since I got screwed on having my name spelled I am gonna spell hers different too!" Needless to say the way she spelled Kaela is Arabic for "beloved sweetheart"...LOL.
-
I like the idea of passing family names down from one generation to another. I hope when my kids have children of their own they'll do the same, but I won't push them into it. I just think it's a nice way to honor the people we love.
-
It makes for great stories too. Like how this name came into play in the family.
-
I named my son (6 year old) after my family doc...just cuz my family doc was always there for me through everything...hes like a father to me my family doc...my other 15 year old son he is named after his father..he has like 4 middle names *L..my youngest brother he wanted to name his baby girl after all the family memebers which i thought was cute, but then she'll be having a hard time with her names remembering them all *L
-
*L* That would definately be tricky for her to remember all those names. All three of my kids have two middle names, and 2 out of my older sister's 3 kids have two middle names.
-
I don't think we have more than one middle name for anyone in our family. But I know that alot of times more than one middle name was a Religious deal. It used to be anyway. Something to that effect. Or maybe it was just more common for certain Religions to have children with more middle names.
-
I've never heard that before, but it could very well be true. The only reason my kids have 2 middle names is because with my first child I couldn't pick between the names I liked so we used them all. Then I figured might as well do the same with the girls or they might feel left out or think we played favorites with our son.*L*
-
all my realatives they have one name for their middle name *..but i guess my family is crazy *L
-
I don't think anyone in our family has 2 or more middle names. I oughta look...LOL.
-
I don't know of anyone in our family having two or more middle names besides my sister's kids and my kids.
It can be really interesting looking back into family history and finding out things like that though.

A friend of mine here doesn't even have a middle name. That kind of shoots the getting in trouble theory out the window. LOL
-
I haven't heard about too many people without middle names, but there are a few. My biological father doesn't have a middle name.
-
About the only time mine gets used is if I am in trouble or if I use it myself...LOL.
-
Mine hardly ever gets used either. *L*
-
My middle name is common but my first name the spelling isn't really that common. So sometimes I just use both. It is kind of funny on how people are usually REALLY secretive about their middle names.
