my current domain..."djandcristiwalker.com" is coming up for renewal, and honestly, i'd like to get a different one. it's very difficult to remember that whole thing, and it would be much easier to have something that is a bit more simple.
I'm up for any and all suggestsions....
I have a few already in mind, but will not post them until i have gotten a bit more input.
anything...and i mean absolutely anything is fair game.
to let you know, the site will contain basically what it contains now, pictures of myself and family, as well as anything that i feel needs to be put up there, such as the March madness rules now, and the nikki cappelli page.

unfortunately, both of those domains have already been registered.
sooperprince is still available, and will be added to the list.
I'm a bit upset, because two of the domains i was wanting to get www.ort.com and www.thewalkers.com are both registered by the same company. I contacted them on what it would cost to purchase the domain from them...mainly just out of curiosity, and they replied with, "you can register an email with our company for only 24.95 a year....or you can get a website and email for only 54.90 a year." that is more than i want to pay.

i nearly purchased ort.org a few months back, and now it is taken. i can not get it now.
what is still untaken is
orty.org
ortyort.* (anything with ortyort is open .com, .net, etc.)
i think i have narrowed it down to that....although i could purchase ort.net for the low low price of 5000 dollars which i won't be doing.
i have to make a decision in like 2 weeks, so ANY feedback would be appreciated.

regardless of adman's comment, if he is referring to my post, or babi's...i will explain ort.
when i was younger, in junior high, one of the other kids at school came up with nicknames for seemingly everyone. it was not so much a nickname, but supposedly a noise or comment that the person had made. Everytime he saw me, he began saying "ort" because apparently, when i was making fun of people, i would do the "retard move" (slap the side of your hand to your chest, make a funny face, and say "durrr") or something along those lines...
anyways, he thought i was saying ort when i did that, and therefore, he started calling me ort. it caught on and soon everyone was calling me ort, or orty ort...so alot of times when i walked in a room, half the place would yell 'ORT' at the top of their lungs. it started out as "making fun of me", but eventually, i started liking the name. and besides that, it's a short url, which i really like.

due to the fact that I prefer .com domains, and i left out a fairly easy spelling of the website, i have decided to go with ortort.com I have not been able to purchase the domain yet, that will probably happen something this next week, but just wanted to let everyone know.
and i'm glad everyone is enjoying the "ort" jokes [img]biggrin.gif[/img]
