I do know that the crap regarding Sludge sort of turned people away from EZBoard. Examples would be the DeviantsReunited board and JJ's old board(G2), both which are still around, but not being used. I have many, many memberships to now dead boards, boards that were destroyed in the fallout from Sludge wars.
I still have a board which was doing okay until I started getting stalked by people who shall remain nameless. Most people don't want to get involved in that sort of thing and will leave a board for it, even though a board could be taken back if the regulars would stick together and drive the interlopers off. Unfortunately, my board is on life support.
I wasn't aware that the DR was still alive. I quite
enjoyed being the venerable host on that. What I
like best about it, was hoisting up new CDs (eg,
Interpol) and collectively reviewing them.
Courtesy of our Spark TV shenanigans, I now
have access to a 40 GB Quicktime server, which
we could use on DR if we decided to incorporate
broadband-speed video.

It would have been a good way to gather more people for here, as it is an EZBoard and people don't have to specially register to post/read. This would be a good time to try again. I do know that it would be heavily moderated.
