muahaha..all the dragons are mine now!

I stopped off at wal-mart today after work to see if they had dragons. alas, they did not have them (although I did get accosted in the parking lot by a urine soaked man and his wife, who asked if I'd either give them a ride or $7 for gas money), so I ventured forth to Meijer.

Nope, no dragons there.

Well, I thought, I'll try suncoast.

I'm glad I did, because I picked up the box set and water clan dragon. I looked for the sorcerer, but everyone but him was on the pegs. When I got to the register, the cashier said she'd bought the water clan and sorcerer clan dragons, and how cool they were. I mentioned that I'd now have all of them except for the sorcerer. She suddenly took off for the back room, and returned a few minutes later with the sorcerer dragon. she'd opened up a new case just to dig him out for me. sweet!

so now I have all of the dragons. I shall take pics later on, after they've all been opened.

I told them the simple truth: the seatbelts in my car are broken except for the driver's side one, and I didn't have any cash on me. both probably sounded like a lame excuse, but hey, better that truth than the "I'm sorry, but I'm afraid you might rob and murder me, so no" truth.

Tort: Understandable. I have to say, there are advantages to looking scary...I hardly ever have top laugh at panhandlers and the like...which I have done...as they hardly ever bother me...

man, I opened the box set not too long ago, and that thing is so amazing. I also pried the fugly ball out of the sorcerer's hands. I think I might just try painting it, so I don't have to mess with trimming the peg down and glueing something else into his hands.

when I took the ball off mine the peg broke off with it. then the marble just glued on

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">I managed to get the ball off without damaging the peg. I imagine it wouldn't be too hard to trim it down, being as mcfarlane pegs seem to be so damned fragile lately. the peg on the water dragon's foot broke off, which annoyed me. though he stays on his base just fine without it.

I'm still undecided on if I want to paint the ball, or just trim the peg and stick something else in his hands.

Tort, trim the peg !! It's so soft a knife will take it off cleanly. Then just use a nifty looking marble. The sheen on a marble looks so cool.

Nice Tort. I got them all except the Komodo. I gotta make room somewhere for the box set. That I bet will be awesome outta the box. Any pics?
