May Meet!

Ok guys, lets try a meet for may, I need to know a week befor the meet so I can get some time off, but I think we can all think of somthing... any one have any ideas?

Well I was going to go to the last one but something came up so I really want to make it to this one. I think we should go to Port Townsend and eat at Nifty Fiftys and then go take a drive around the area or something. Whatever we do it would be better if it was on a Saturday. Otherwise I can't go.

A saturday is good for me too!! and It better be sunny too dang it, if Im going to drive up north!! haha

Well there is a few autocrossing Events in may to list some.

Saturday May 14 NWR/SCCA-autocross practice round in Packwood near Mt Ranier.

Sunday May 15 NWR/SCCA Regional 2 autocross event will also be held in Packwood.

Saturday May 21 SCCA/OR Regional 5 autocross event at Portland International Raceway

Sunday May 29 NWR/SCCA Regional 3 autocross event at bremerton raceways.

Not sure if everyone would like to go to these events but i thought that it would be a good idea since we have never planned to go to a race. Maybe we could try something new for a change. What do you guys think.

Which date did you have in mind robert?

any work for me i get the weekends off so basicly it up to you guys and what works for you personaly i would like to go to all of them.

Just as long as I know a little while in advance so I can get the day off. What works for everyone else?

i dont think i would mind going to the those races. As long as they are sometime past may 14. Thats when i get my sol back pretty much from getting painted.

that sound like a good idea too. I'd like to go to that. maybe we could have 2 meets for the month.

Two meets would be great! As long as I have money for gas.

I was also thinking of a May 7th car show meet. Tunerz after dark or Tuner Bash or something like that at the stadium exposition center.

SCCA is having that autocross in Packwood WA, also on May 21, 22. I have heard a lot of good things about it. It is hosted on 35 acre's of pavement, smooth and awsome for racing. Non SCCA members look to pay about 30 for racing, 20 for SCCA members. I tell you by experience, what a great feeling. I will have to check into my schedule for what weekend you guys plan to have the meet. They categorise cars, from stock and modified. Usually one group or the other starts early in the morning, as the other group takes place in the afternoon. I don't know how they run it exactly for car groups. If planning for autocross meet, I'm digging it.

So who is all going to the import car show this saturday? We should all meet somewhere or park in the same area in the parking lot. I will be gone till friday but i will check back. You can all email me too at [email protected].

Ill meet you guys up there on saturday, as long as its earlier in the day. I won't be able to take the day off though [img]frown.gif[/img] . It would still be cool to see some of you, I have only talked to geo and both roberts in real life.

So here we go for May meet #2, I say we have a Redmond meet Saturday May 28. We will meet up at fatburger in redmond and go from there. If traffic is good, we can drive to fall city and back. Its a nice drive to and back. Taking RSVPS on who can make it.

Why not do like a run out on 410 or like 5 mile drive. I got this big loop i like to drive alot that goes out on 410. we could also go out to mt rainer or something like that.

hey guys, i am up for this weekend, i might be alittle late, i have a ride a long with snohomish county, so i am not going to get any sleep... but if somone would give me a call on my cell who ever is going to be comming from the north... that would be great, 425-218-8388... also it looks like i am going to have my other sol up and running befor the end of june. but i am needing a back left quarter pannel for my blue sol.... hit and run.... if anyone knows where i could get one that would be great!

So what are the plans for this weekend do we really know? Im open tell just about 3:30 then i have to be at work from 4-9 this weekend is spose to be nice we should meet up on sunday. Do like a drive up to Alki beach in seattle or who ever they spell it and eat at this kick ass pizza place they have up there

I've been waiting to hear back from Thomas on the address so I can Map Quest it for the Redman/FatBurger meet Saturday the 28th at 12 noon (I don't have their address) and then the Autocross Event at Bremerton Raceways on Sunday the 29th (which I can look up). After that I'll put a page together and you folks can print out directions to each one.
I'm going to email Thomas again to see if I can get that, I can't remember how to get there, been to long.

Well i just think Redman is a little too far some times. just to turn around and drive back. we could meet up at south center mall witch would make it easy for people to meet up. Alot of clubs i know of meet there and then go from there to wherever.

I'm in the Southern end of Seattle but i will be gone from sunday to monday(Memorial Day). So i'll be able to hook up with yall on anything going on, on saturday.

I really dont know whats going on For sat. Sounds like people can't find out whats going on tell the last day and it makes it hard to plan thins out a bit here to meet up. As of that i got called in now for sat so i said i would work becasue i did not know what was really going on.

Well i went to the meet saturday and 3 people including myself showed. It was Billy, Bonnie, and me. I have some pics of are cars at alki beach. i will send some if you would like i dont have anywhere to place them right now but i can send them by email. Well we are going to have to put are foot down in order to have people show up to these things and give more time and notice before hand to have these meets work out better. well thanks guys and let get started on planning the next meet.

i am billy ( the new guy ) and it was very fun going to the meet even with juswt bonnie and robert but i drove all the way from poulsbo to redmond and 3 people showed it was kind of dissapointing does any one have ideas on how to make better meets ?
