I'm going with the latter. Definitely stronger. Maybe more accessable. Dunno. It's just awesome.

I?ve been thinking this too- not an easy to decision, but I think that I choose Red Badge too.
I remember reading somewhere that they recorded the songs for third album too, but broke before it was finished. Anybody knows something more about this?
I have only heard these two albums and the Jeff Dahl- produced song on Trash on Demand 3.
If they had a third, I'd be very interested in hearing it. Anybody?
I think it was Jeff Dahl who said once that they at least started to record that third album when I asked about Beat Angels from him. Of course it could be that my memory fails me, again...
i have four unreleased tunes from the Beat Angels. don't know if they are ones that didn't make their first two releases or if they were recorded for the third album.
01 girl walking backwards
02 she shoots starlight
03 porn star shine
04 whorehouse priest
i also have that 'liquor pig boyfriend' song they put up for download a few years back.
when i talked to the singer, way back when, he said they were working on the new album and looking to set up some shows but that they were short a member. i don't think they ever did anything after that convo.
Yeah I remember too asking the singer about the third album...he said it was in the works...and after that, I heard nothing else.
I do know that the tune Bill mentioned "Liquor Pic Boyfriend" was one of the songs for the third album that was to be out.
<font size="4" face="Arial">What are those four songs like? More like Unhappy hour or Red Badge- style?Quote:

"Liquer Pig Boyfriend" is also on Trash on Demand 3, which was compiled by Jeff Dahl and relased on his record company Ultra Under. At least that version was produced by Mr Dahl himself.
(It has other greats too, like Black Market Babies? (later Black Halos) "Fucked from the start", The 440?s, and awesome version of "Sympathy for the devil" by Dave Kusworth.
I think you can still got that comp. from his website.
Was it so that the singer moved away from Phoenix to Detroit or somewhere? I seem to remember that was editor in some magazine down there.
Sweet. A Trash Brat swings by. This is awesome news. Thanx Ricky. I look forward to this project. You guys (former brats) keeping busy?
That sounds great, Trash Brat and Beat Angel! Looking forward to this!
AMEN MR RAT!!! A BIG FAN OF YA AND THE BRATS HERE!!! NICE TO KNOW ABOUT YA BEING IN THE WAY OF RETURNING TO THE SCENE!!! CAN'T WAIT FOR SOME NEWS!!!
Hello everyone,
Ricky Rat here formerly of the Trash Brats. How's it going? I came across this post and thought that I would drop a line or two and let everyone know about the new band Brian Smith from the Beat Angels and myself are forming here in Detroit.
Brian is the music editor in town here at the Metro Times and has been in detroit for a couple of years. We have been working on new tunes and checking out different people as possible band members in our new band. We are looking for a drummer, bassist and second guitarist and are being extremely picky! So as you can imagine, especially with the current start of rock and roll and music in general, it's taking us some time. I have checked out the board here from time to time and really appreciate all the kind words said about the Trash Brats. I am glad to see that our music still makes people happy. (for the most part anyway!)
I'll keep everyone updated on the progress of the band and we hope to have things rolling soon and be back out playing and seeing everyone. Have a great day!! RR
Hey everyone. Cool to here about Brian's new project with Ricky.
And I am envious of whoever has GWB, Porn Star Shine, and She Shoots Starlight.
My radio station, Vodka Tonic Radio, plays Liquor Pig Boyfriend in our current regular rotation. It is the mp3.com version produced by Gilby (diff. from the grittier Jeff Dahl produced Trash On Demand). All the new songs for the never released 3rd album were produced by Gilby including the ones creeper 2 mentioned and others like "Gutter Snobs", and "Misery Becomes You".
Once I get my record label going I thought of releasing a Beat Angels anthology with the best of the first two, plus the unreleased new songs ...also the covers they recorded (Crazy Train, Stay With Me, Terminal Love). Maybe someone or somelabel will beat me too it.
