I might have to move and since place is smaller, I will need a solution to display the figures. I want them to look like pieces of art, not cluttered, the more glass, the better. Close enviroment is prefered to avoid kids or people to touch them. It will most likely be on the lounge.
Ideas ? photos ?
I know Ikea makes some nice glass cabinets...
btw, Whopper Jr was looking for you on the white board last week, or so...
Bonedust got some GREAT display cases from Ikea.
Each one is about 2 feet wide, 4 feet tall, lighted, and about 5 or 6 inches deep. They hang on the wall, have a wood frame around the front, and a large glass front panel. The shelves inside are glass and can adjust to several heights.
They're very similar to Andy's case that he has his dragons in, except a closed glass front (for no-touch) and they're tall instead of wide.
I think it would look great to have three of them along one wall... almost like stain glass windows in a church. [img]biggrin.gif[/img]

If you notice on the inside walls... the shelves are adjustable.
YOu could take one out and make it just a two-shelf setup. That would give plenty of height.
The site list the depth as 6 3/4"... that should be plenty for most figures.
If that's not deep enough, there's the one that Drau has a pair of... they're 16 x 14 x 64 and free standing for $59.
