1st off - new post on public bbs entitled 'Auto Prune'. Now, I don't for one minute think that it's aimed at what I've said above [img]wink.gif[/img] b/c my post ^^ was about a NEW thread that had been deleted, not some old thing that hadn't had any replies for a week. 2nd off, it's a very good feature, especially when a bbs is very busy (which the new public one patently isn't but lets not go there *lol*) and 3rd off, 'conspiracy theory'?! WTF! *shakes head*

so the thread hadnt been unanswered for a week???? If thats the case there goes their theory of pruning old threads. Yeah LOL @conspiracy theory. Its only that if it doesnt really happen and and the evidence over time has shown that threads do mysteriousely dissapear without question.

plus yeah no use having auto prune on a board that is for all intends DEAD and needs as many posts as it can get lol

Shame DH already has an official f/c because I am mighty impressed with what Access All Areas appear to offer here:

I haven't read the dh board in question, so I didn't see the thread that was deleted or the new one about 'auto pruning' or conspiricy theories. However, call me cynical, but this thread brings to mind a conversation we had a while back ............

As I recall, many of us said something along the lines that you can only be told that "it's all in your head" so many times. Because no one is ALWAYS wrong and it's not ALWAYS in our heads..... sometimes it's exactly what we think.

You know, there's another side to this coin. If we're told every time that there is an "innocent" explanation and that we're the ones being suspicious, we eventually stop believing that. The problem is that just as things are occassionally what they seem, they are also just as occassionally innocent and not what they seem. So there comes a point that people like us stop believing the "it's not what it looks like" even when that is the truth.

No we are not right all the time but sure as shit aint wrong every time either.

Maybe it is a conspiracy theory but seems to be it was both US (play clubs promo thread) and US (when will it be released) that were auto pruned LOL.

I am not sure that board even needs it really.. as 1 weeks not long for a thread and ahhh its hardly rocking with action atm.

I'm sure auto prune does it's job, however, I believe it's more 'auto censor' that applied to 2 instances I observed.

Thought I'd just say that your TTATS post is excellent Kat - as are the replies! - and hopefully at some stage I might add something. I've never actually reviewed it track-by-track, just commented on ones like Darkness, Void and Hero as the topics have been raised.

That site's been plagued with problems hasn't it, even back to when it was first set up! They should really sort their servers out - it's pretty shoddy to muck customers about like this.
