Ok in all seriousness this is
pretty friggin sad...
NEWHALL, California (AP) -- A woman was arrested after the California Highway Patrol officer who pulled her car over found nine people crammed inside, including two children in the trunk.
"I have never heard of this," said Officer Wendy Hahn. "There was no room left in the car, so she puts two of the kids in the trunk. We're trying to get people to buckle up, and this is what we find."
Lavern Dunlap, 35, of Glendora, was pulled over about 8 p.m. Friday after another driver reported seeing a woman closing the trunk of her Toyota Corolla with two children inside as the vehicle sat parked on a shoulder.
Dunlap told the officer she was heading to her sister's house in Palmdale, about a 60-mile trip.
The officer discovered a 15-year-old boy and a 10-year-old girl in the trunk, four children in the back seat, an adult in the front passenger seat with a child on her lap and Dunlap behind the wheel. No one was wearing a seat belt, she said.
Dunlap was booked on suspicion of child cruelty and was released. She is scheduled to appear next month in court.

Hey, my school games master, Alf Warvill once got the whole of the under 16 soccer team in his VW Passat. He couldnt start the school mini bus for some reason and had to get them to a league fixture.

Ya know though, that is the only way to go to a drive-in theater. I've been in many a trunk just to save a few bucks at the show. LOL!!!
-
[email protected] that too man...hahaha.
Also, when about 10 or 11...we lived behind a drive-in...nothing like crawling under the fence and sitting down to watch a movie.....haha.
-
Man, the drive-in! Good times...Good times.
We lucked out here. They just charged like $5 for the carload. However many people ya want.
We'd get a bunch of people, get a few pizzas and a buncha beer beforehand, and just go have a blast. Got busted once, and had to pour all our beer out right there. Man, that sucked. We had a few cases at the time, and just had to open them up, and dump 'em on the ground. At least they just let us go home. We were about 17 I think.

Well, I don't do that anymore. I will probably be at the drive-in this Sunday, but this time I will pay my way in, and I will let the kids sit in the back seat of the van.
Raggz, you had to sneak into your drive-in? I know one of the ones by us had it set-up with the surrounding houses that they could watch for free. The theater even went so far as to run speakers to the houses!
The one I still go to doesn't have any houses by it, so no "freebies" for people there.
