I had a bit of an online infra-dig for Steve's
details, but found nowt. What I did find, though,
was something rather interesting: rock photographer
Ross Halfin's online blog. It's jammed full of
daily rock n'roll anecdotal shenanigans. - Oh,
and purry bollox about his cat. His latest entry
is about shooting Ozzy, which will interest you.
Lots of gorgeous photography too, of course.

Will check it out D. Yeah , not sure K, hasnt moved house in the last year. Last time we spoke, Dec 04, he informed me he had changed his email.I took it and subsequently lost it within a day or so. I sent him a letter last month and told him to mail me but no joy. Being that its telly related , I can't see him not replying. Ive known the crazy old goat for nigh on 14 years. Im guessing he never got the letter. I think Stacey is the girl with her ear to the ground around Decadence and stuff like that.

Umm...you talking 'bout me??? LMAO!!!
Saw this thread too late, but Krusher did pop in the Crobar briefly Friday night, before the Vain gig. He didn't stay though. Think he must've been looking for someone. A quick scout around and then he was off again. He's still about, here 'n' there.

if you see him Stacey, can you asking him if he got Ian Hunter's letter? And don't let him give you any sweeties.
I won't be back in London for a couple of weeks now, until the Adam Bomb show on 9th June. You got an email address for me to pass on, if I see him?
I don't think he'll be giving me any sweeties
According to his blog, it sounds like his too busy
flying to be bothered about driving. The lucky
bastard.

Welcome to the board anyway.
Re Halfin: his Jon Bon Jovi comments are scathing
but also quite diplomatic. During that period
(the signed contact sheet picture - circa '99ish)
every rock photographer was whinging about the
embargo JBJ had put on all of them: 'No overhead
shots, lest you're dazzled by the light reflecting
off Jon's newly-acquired bald spot.' I paraphrase,
of course.

You would be surprised at the list of stipulations we often get. Most bands don't allow flash to be used in the press pit and, unelss you have bought a ticket, chucking you out of the side door after the shoot.( 1st 3 numbers is usually all you can shoot) Impounding you cameras is another good one. Also we have had to sign a contract give the band interlectual copyright over the pics!! I ignored that one. Publish and be damned, as the saying goes. I won't tell you who it was but you wouldn't be surpirsed, Im sure!

Why the first three numbers? Do the bands think
they become un-photogenic after that? Were it me,
I'd want the sweat dripping all over the lens.
