hi all,
as i said,i'd like to share with you a couple of clips i managed to tape during the gigs at yoshi's.That was before Vinnie got pissed at that dude in the first row.John and i were seated quite far from the scene so you don't get to see the master from close but it's still worth it anyways.
I need help as to use yousendit since i've never used it before.
any help welcome.
Hi Addix, let me help you out:
1. Visit www.yousendit.com
2. The screen that loads will ask you to enter YOUR email address followed by a prompt to upload the file you want to share with us (I can't wait!)
That's it, don't enter the optional email or message.
3. Now hit "Send it". Within a few minutes you should have an email in your inbox. It will tell you have a file waiting for you and you should see a link you need to follow. Click on the link and then copy/paste the link from the browser window that opens. That is the link the people here need to download the material. Don't worry, we don't get access to your email account or anything. This is very safe.
I hope it doesn't sound too complicated. Once you've done it a couple times you get the hang of it. There is always the option to look for free web-space, although I am not too familiar with this. Stick to Yousendit.com for the meantime. Good luck!

thanks so much drummadix! Must have been awesome to watch this gig twice! Videos show awesome playing
S.P:yeah that was actually great to see him twice in a row.He played better on sunday actually, especially his comping was very relaxed and much more inspired.
yeah they are bound to get better as the days go by, and especially theres always an extra something on last show!
Hope you had fun
Sound good
Maybe you can share the full show on Dime ?
Wow, I didn't know you were taking those clips, and I was sitting right next to you, haha. That first one caught my favorite solo of the night. You can hear me say "oh man" after Vinnie rips that one hand/ and foot run across his toms.
Boy, your lucky that Vinnie couldn't see you!
damn, another double post... stupid mouse haha

Nice! I got a few video clips myself, all of which were taken before the guy in the front row screwed up by taking out an ACTUAL video camera in full view of the band....putz.... I'll have to try posting some of those...stay tuned...
Did anyone happen to capture the solo where Vinnie lost his left stick and kept the solo going with his blazing floor tom/kick thing? The coolest part of it was that when he finally recovered the errant stick, he continued the solo as if it was all part of the plan! If you were to hear it on tape without video, you'd swear he had two sticks the whole time. Truly mind boggling...

OoooWowowowow!
DOOOD!
? - why doesn't addix have more starridge?
DA - U-ROK!
I know how VC feels about vid'g, & he may be watching in here fom T2T, but...gadds, I love that man. WE love ya, Vinmeister!
Just don't try to sell 'em on ebay.
Is it just me, or is that part u r refrg to [just b4 your "whooping!"] more of a triplet thing, like 1 hand on toms & 2 in foot, like Weckl also does, & not H/F...correct me if i'm wrong on that. I'll have to go back & re-listen a 2nd time...
[Like Jeppe & Dij to Virg, I guess I'm the official spokesperson "for Vinnie AND Hass, & All Their Fusion-&-Whatnot [Place-Style-Here] Buddies"...] /;cP J/K!!
...a VC "Addixion" is a terrible thing...to waste.

I got to meet Vinnie thanks to John, and that makes up for it 1 zillion times.
ZAK-HA!Ha!You must have been totally mesmerized by Vinnie cos'even the guy in the kitchen could have noticed that i was trying to tape some of the magic that night.
