It is one of THE best anime I've seen in a very long time, on par with Ghost in the Shell and Akira.

Always good to hear what is worth watching out there in the Anime world.
About the only other thing I have had to look forward to in Anime was the rerelease if GitS2 where they fixed the subtitiles

I've got a bootleg of the first 3 episodes I think, got it from a con.I couldn't understand the plot points to it much, but then I haven't seen the other episodes either, and I dunno how accurate the one's I have are.. I may have to end up getting Gungrave. I still need to pick up GitS 2, the Evangelion collection, Hellsing collection, Lady Death, Inuyasha, and Samarai X (Or Rorouni Kenshin for most people). There was another one I had wanted to get too, but can't remember what one that was.
Isn't there a live-action movie of Applessed coming? Maybe it's just anime.. but I thought I saw a poster at the theatre when I went to se ROTS.

But anyway, Appleseed is indeed my favorite animation movie. However IMO for the greatest Anime story and series, Last Exile is still leaps ahead of the rest, heck even of what the western world has to offer in live action flicks. [img]wink.gif[/img]
And BTW, John Woo has taken over the Appleseed project. He will be producing and directing the Animation sequel, as well the 26 episode series.
Though it will only be released to the West after a year to it's original Japanese release date which is sometime next year.
And finally they are making a 3rd Ghost in the Shell move!

And finally, besides Last Exile, Gantz and Burst Angel are also fantastic series, IMO better than Trigun and co.
I never saw the first one back in November.. That and I've not been around all too much here for a while.. Got a lot going on.

BUt to tell the truth, you were geeked up about it cause you love anime so much.. There are those that I know from experience that don't get geeked until they hear about the review of the Dubbed movie.. Most people aren't fans of the original Japanese adaptation like me and you..

I also liked Full Metal Alchemist, but the ending was kinda like berserk, it leaves you hanging.

Actually I do have a dvd rom, and a normal dvd.. I'd love to have all of them!.. And yep, I collect.. Just bought Ms. Nute at Sam Goody tonight.. Hell of a deal too.. Only paid a little under 4 bucks for a 25 dollar figure.
Right now I don't have much.. Kenshiro from Fist of the North Star.. The 10 Regular version of Vegeta... The Black Vash (No glasses) and Wolfwood from Trigun.. Beyond the Grave.. And I have Guyver 1 on it's way here from Hobby Link Japan, and both Guyver III and Gazelle the Peacemaker The Black Beast repaint on pre order.. I went out looking for Briareus but only found one, didn't wanna spend 25 on him yet, and that was at a comic shop.. The other one comes with the collectors' edition of the movie and is 45 dollars. I'll see about takin some pics tonight actually and posting. I also got me a Duel Masters Fear Fang.. Best looking Werewolf type figure I've seen in a long time, besides McFarlanes, which I don't have.. And couldn't pass on it being less then 2 bucks for it. It isn't really articulated though, and has a stupid action feature.
