This evening after work cutting grass and watering abunch of new plantings in my yard. Tomorrow, washing my car and then I am going snorkeling and adding to my shell collection. I have a rule though, no matter how much I like the shell if it is occupied I don't take it. I think that creature's right to a home over rules my right to the shell. If I find a pretty shell on the beach that's occupied I throw it as far out into the water as I can to prevent someone else taking it and killing the occupant. Before long the waters will be getting too cool for me to go snorkeling so I have been going every weekend. I have about 10,000 or so shells now in jars on a set of shelves in my livingroom. Some wet and cold winter weekend I plan on separating them by type. For now they are in jars just based on when I found them.
Then dinner tomorrow night at PJs. Interesting little restaurant. I heard the building is insured for an additional $700,000 to cover all the tips plastered on the walls PJ's
Then Sunday staying closer to home, doing yard work for a neighbor and going to the pool after lunch and probably a bike ride.

Off today, went out to lunch, running some errands, goofing off. Might go to a movie or something tonight. Gotta work both Sat and Sun, but there's no Bears game this week so I wont miss it LOL!
Probably still get some sports watching in (there's always hilights [img]graemlins/thumbs_up.gif[/img] ) not sure what else.

Saturday I got about the biggest one day haul of shells ever (other than times when hurricanes out in the Gulf throw a lot of shells up) and had a very enjoyable day. It felt more like July 1st than October 1st though it was in the mid 90s. Not complaining though, I'll take it. [img]graemlins/island.gif[/img] [img]graemlins/sun.gif[/img] [img]cool.gif[/img]

Friday was OK. Went out to eat, goofed around.
Saturday, college football picks other sports stuff worked, more football and baseball stuff when I got home
Sunday- Good breakfast, would pretty much like to forget the rest of the day

I wish I were off today. I would be down the beach for 3 or 4 hours. Oh well, Saturday is only 5 days away. [img]cool.gif[/img]
Funny how so many people here in Florida have told me "oh just wait after you are here awhile you won't even go to the beach anymore..." This is my 3rd year here and I love it every bit as much as when I could only come down on vacation. I will never tire of it. How anyone could get "tired" of going to the beautiful beaches here is beyond my comprehension. Here it is only Monday morning and I am already looking forward to going on Saturday. Work to live, dont live to work.
Job facilitates life, meaning that you work to have the money to take care of responsabilities and so hopefully you can afford to have some fun on your days off.
If your job is your whole life, then (in my own honest opinion) your life sucks! LOL!

Friday evening my husband & I had dinner (I made it) with my "best friend". Hadn't seen them for over three years & it was really nice. [img]smile.gif[/img]
Yesterday morning I got an e-mail from a girl I used to work with telling me that another woman we both worked with died late on Saturday. I loved this woman & am very sad today.
Today I had an appointment with the foot doctor. She said my foot is still healing but it still has a way to go. \
Tomorrow I have an appointment with an oral surgeon to have a molar taken out & Wednesday I start on a clear, liquid diet in preparation for a colonoscopy. Oh the joys of aging!!!! I can hardly contain my joy this week!!!!! [img]graemlins/cry.gif[/img] [img]eek.gif[/img] [img]graemlins/gulp.gif[/img]

My weekend was uneventful.
Running, watching the Bengals, more running, Laundry, food, biking, etc. etc. etc.
