I saw the preview for "Serenity" at the Batman movie. I had no idea they were making a movie of the canceled too soon TV show "Firefly"! The previews look really good! Apparently it's a three picture deal if the first one does well.

I didin't get ot catch it on TV when it was airing.

I would say it was a cross between Farscape and Babylon 5 only grittier. Excellent ensemble cast.

It was a year or two ago on Fox. It only lasted one season.
What I don't understand is that it had low ratings but there was a huge outcry from the fans when they canceled it. Enough to make a movie I guess. Go figure.
