Nah Darren...it's mainly small "don't blink an eye cuz you'll miss it" towns...haha. Those small areas, you'd be surprised how backwards some of them can be....haha.
Dallas, Houston, and Austin....which are a drive away from me are cool...More of the hip crowd.
San Antonio is nothing but Hispanic Gangs nowadays, which I stay away from. They made San Antonio into a huge trash dump...with drug trafficing and not to mention all the gang related crap...from carjacking to robberies. It's sad that a city that used to be great with the River Walk, Dowtown, and the Alamo has turned to trash. Austin is where I mainly go these days, My sister lives there, plus Austin is the music Capitol of Texas.
If someone were to ask me where is a good place to go....I'd steer them towards Austin Texas.....it's a place where something is happening every minute....Lots of live music, clubs....mainly Sixth Street.

Sorry to say Bill and Darren.
It's gotten pretty bad...A friend of mine who's a policeman who deals with gang related issues, told me that it's gotten pretty bad with the Mexican Mafia there and all the gangs. Before I even knew how bad it got...I went...and was disappointed how screwed up it is these days. Downtown is still nice, but news always reports of tourist getting carjacked, robbed, killed....some in daytime. Sure robbery, murders, and carjacking happens pretty much everywhere, but SA was never known for that...now it seems that's all that is on the news...Gangs retaliating and all that ignorant uneducated gang bullshit.
