Did a small session a month ago and got the track done and had some extra time and then We went in War with some free solo's, and it was very exiciting doing this, because I rarely have the opportunity to record myself, and especially not the solo's.

From a Technical aspect, they're not what is usually beeing put up in here, but I hope you enjoy some of the compositional ideas in it, or maybe want to discuss it and maybe give some feedback [img]smile.gif[/img]

I really enjoyed listening to your solos. The first one-I liked the way you built it up. The second was my fav, because it was very musical IMO. I liked how you started a theme, and used it to solo around it...cool samba too.

I'm interested in the recording equipment...can you get that info?

mics, preamps, ADA converters, software, etc.

The recording quality was great- everything sounded good.

Hehe yeah Henry, That Live Stuff Solo in NYC is just almost memorized in my head, i tried to play it, but Chris Parker is missing, and it makes it almost impossible to groove the way it does. Those Solo motive by Gadd is very hard to play while playing a samba pattern with BD and Hi-hat, but could be worth working on yirh!.

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">It's Mathias's Drums, he uses G1 clear as bottom heads, and G2 Coated as Top-heads. ( My own configuration is identical with this one though )

Drums are Tama Starclassic Maple.

Love it man! It's soooooo refreshing to hear -------SPACE--------

Even the tone of the snare has some spaciness to it.

I love the Vinnie-ish flam-y stuff as well. Also, nice job bringing the opening themes back into the picture.

I normally don't comment on Message Board drum solos...

We did all real quik. Also the mixing. a little comp, reverb and som EQ on the bass.

I don't know if the L.A thing is happening, i just got called for 3 gigs in the opening of August, and that means if i went to L.A it would be in the late August period. It would probably end up with going to Greece or something like that [img]confused.gif[/img] [img]smile.gif[/img]

Yeah, i got this job interview and i'll find out if i get it on wednesday so if i do i wont be going either!
